Sizzle Calories w/ Bench Jumps
Cardio exercises & workouts are great ways to burn a lot of calories and keep your heart in tip top shape. Bench Jumps are a fun change of pace to typical cardio exercises and because of the upper body stabilization you also get the added benefit of working your chest, shoulders and core. Make it easier by starting on a lower bench or a step. To really increase your intensity and calorie burn aim for 10 to 20 reps of the Bench Jumps, 3 times during your next workout!
Do it Right
- Stand next bench facing forward, bend forward & place hands shoulder distance apart on bench, keeping abdominals contracted, bend knees into a quarter squat position, exhale & simultaneously jump both feet up onto bench, immediately jump w/ both feet up and land on the floor on opposite side of bench
- Quickly repeat the move, going the other direction
