Dumbbell Chest Press w/ Leg Lifts
By adding leg lifts to the standard chest press this challenging combination move targets not only your chest muscles but also all your ab muscles at the same time; including those tough to tone lower abs. Get the most out of the chest press w/ leg lifts by matching the speed of the movement of your arms and legs on the way up and on the way down. Be sure to keep your abdominals contracted throughout the entire move and only lower your legs as far as you can while keeping your low back flat on the floor. Make it a little easier by simply eliminated the leg lift and holding your legs straight up in the air through the entire exercise.
