- 2-4 pounds of bones
- 4 quarts of water
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1-2 tablespoons high quality salt
- Cover bones with water
- Add ACV and salt (and garlic or onion if you want!)
- Simmer on low in a crock pot for 24-48 hours.
HINT: I like to decrease the time by using an electric pressure cooker on high for 2 hours then let it self-release and remain on the keep warm setting overnight which makes it much easier to work with and jar in the morning.
