It’s a Fitness Fix for Tough to Tone Triceps


Stability Ball Skull Crushers -don’t let the name scare you! This exercise is also referred to as the “French Press,” and it is an awesome way to tone those hard to target triceps muscles. You also get the added benefit of working your core by using the stability ball. Remember to always take a second to be sure you have your balance. For awesome arms add skull crushers to your next workout – just be careful not to ‘crush your skull!’


Do it Right

  • Lie w/ head & shoulders on stability ball & feet hips distance apart on floor, keep shoulders, hips and knees in a straight line & abdominals tight
  • Grasp bar with an overhand grip, hands shoulder width apart, arms extended toward ceiling w/ bar over shoulders
  • Flex elbows keeping them facing forward, until bar is just above head
  • Exhale and extend elbows to return to starting point
