Stability Ball Biceps Curls w/ dumbbells
Balance is such an important factor in everyday life, so the more you can incorporate balance training into your fitness routines the better. Using a stability ball is a great way to do just that. Remember when doing any kind of balance or stability training always take a second and be sure you are neutral, aligned and set before being your exercise. Susan is alternating her bicep curls to make it more challenging on the core, you can progress this move even further by lifting the opposite foot with the opposite arm as if you were marching when performing the curls.
Do it Right:
- Sit on stability ball w/ feet hips distance apart on floor
- Hold a dumbbell in each hand w/extended arms, soft elbows & palms facing forward
- Exhale & alternate flexing and extending elbows until all reps are completed
