The stability ball plank crunch is an advanced exercise that targets your entire torso area and really strengthens all your abdominal muscles as well as the muscles in your lower back. It is important to keep your body in a straight line from your head all the way down to your heels. If you are new to exercise, be sure you can perform this exercise using good from on the floor before incorporating the stability ball.
Stability Ball Plank Crunch – Do it Right
- Begin in plank position, forearms on the stability ball w/elbows aligned under shoulders, toes on the floor hip distance apart, body in a straight line from top of head to toes
- Keeping abdominals tight exhale & bring left knee toward right elbow, keeping body in a straight line & shoulders & hips parallel to floor
- Extend left leg back to starting position & repeat w/ right knee
