Triceps Extensions


Eliminate Underarm Jiggle with a Triceps Extension
Use a tube to do this Triceps Extension

This overhead triceps extension works the back of your arms, your triceps; which can be a tough spot to tone. I really like this triceps extension because of the over the head angle. Using the tube or band allows you to control the tension and your range of motion. It’s also perfect for travel or vacation. This exercise can be challenging if you have limited flexibility in your shoulders, so make sure you are ready for it. Always use good exercise technique and form.

Do it Right:

  • Tube/ band secured under 1 foot
  • Stand leaning slightly forward w/ feet in a stagger step, soft knees, flat back, abdominals tight
  • Secure 1 end of tube/band at a low position or under your foot – hold other end w/ 1 hand behind your shoulder keeping elbow facing forward and close to head
  • Exhale and straighten arm until tube/band is above shoulder
  • Reverse direction & return to starting position
  • Switch arms and repeat the same number of reps
