Myo Reps fall into the Rest/Pause family of training methods. This method is really good for building muscle because they encompass two of the things that are important for building muscle: mechanical and stress. In other words the weight that you’re using and time under tension, which increases the lactic acid production (which gives you that burn sensation that you get when do you a lot of reps).
The shorter amount of rest time in Myo Reps is actually beneficial for muscle building because it keeps you under stress longer and more time under tension stimulates more muscle.
