Fitness Fix for Tough to Tone Triceps …

Don’t let the name scare you – this exercise is also referred to as the “French Press,” and it is an awesome way to tone those hard to target triceps. Since you are using the stability ball you are also getting the benefit of working your core. Remember, always take a second to be sure you have your balance before beginning the exercise. For awesome arms add this exercise to your next workout – just be careful not to ‘crush your skull!’

Do it Right:

  • Lie w/ head & shoulders on stability ball & feet hips distance apart on floor, keep shoulders, hips and knees in a straight line & abdominals tight
  • Grasp dumbbells with an overhand grip and arms extended toward ceiling
  • Flex elbows keeping them facing forward, until dumbbells are just above head
  • Exhale and extend elbows to return to starting point to complete 1 reps
