Agility is defined as the ability to move quickly and easily with nimbleness. Agility training is very important for athletes, but as Movement Specialist, Tracy Peal explains everyone can benefit from this type of training. When done correctly, you will see improvement in your speed, balance, coordination and even mind body connection and bone density. Tracy explains the explosiveness as if ‘you are a Jack in the Box’ or ‘unweighing yourself’ and he walks us through the following.
Basic Warm Up Agility Drills
- 2-foot jumps
- Hip twist
- Front pendulum
