- 5 medium sized tomatoes
- 1 large onion
- 1 jalapeno
- 1/2 cup of cilantro
- 1/4 cup of water
Directions:
Step 1.) Cut flank steak into portioned sized pieces. Then in a bowl marinate steak with 1 tablespoon of garlic salt letting it sit for 30 minutes. Next dice the tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, and cilantro and set it aside for later.
Step 2.) In a pan add the 2 tablespoons of olive oil while it’s on medium heat. When the pan is hot add the flank steak letting it sear for around 4 minutes.
Step 3.) When the steak is ready add the tomato, onion, and jalapeno into the pan while stirring pour in the 1/4 cup of water. Taste test to check if you would like more garlic salt than add the 1/2 cup of chopped cilantro. Stir well for 2 minutes and enjoy!
